What is the Duck Tour!?

“Duck Tour” is a tour where you can cruise on both land and water on an amphibious bus.
The bus itself is uniquely designed, stretching to the length of 3.7m. It adds excitement to your exploration around Osaka.
There are no windows on the bus, so you can feel the wind on your face as the colorful bus swifts past people stopping in awe (will all that attention, you will feel like a movie star!)
People on the streets may stop to wave their hand, and sometimes even say hello.
The only tour where you can enjoy the Osaka scene both on land and water!

~The exciting “Splash Line”~

“Splash Line” is the most exciting point in the tour, when the bus drives straight into the water from land.
The bus splashing into the water is a thrilling but exciting experience.
It is close but different from an amusement park ride. You are sure to cry out in excitement!
Seeing the city in the splashing water is sure to be a refreshing experience, both literally and figuratively♪

~Enjoy the four seasons of Osaka ~

The bus is free of windows, letting you feel the air with all of your senses.
Cherry blossoms in the spring, the refreshing wind in the summer, falling leaves in autumn, and illuminations in the winter…every season comes with its own beauty.
The staff will provide blankets during the chilly season.

~Entertaining guides introducing you to Osaka ~

The tour guides have humorous personalities, entertaining and informing you all through the tour.
The tours only come in Japanese, but don’t worry: they are visually entertaining as well. The guides use gestures and pictures to make things clear for foreigners and children as well. (English pamphlets provided).
Every tour guide has their own style, so you can enjoy a different kind of entertainment every time you go!
All the guides love Osaka from the bottom of their hearts, and will do everything in their power to make you love it too!

The best time to go

We asked the Duck Tour staff the best way to join the tour!
The tour is open for reservations on the day-of as long as there are open seats, but the staff recommends that you reserve a spot in advance just in case.
It depends on the season, but usually, there are 4-5 tours a day. According to staff members, reservations are packed during the daytime, so the best time to go is the first and last tours of the day. If you have the flexibility, try reserving seats at those times!
