One of the best snorkeling spot “Cape Maeda”
Beautiful blue vast ocean view
This is one of the most popular spots in Okinawa. Parking areas and shower rooms are perfectly prepared. To access the sea, you take this steps down. Please be careful to go up and down especially when it's crowded. This staircases will be closed when the weather and the sea conditions are too rough.
A popular diving spot- the mysterious "blue grotto"
The blue grotto is the best spot to enjoy snorkeling and diving. Inside the grotto, transparent sea water appears in beautiful pure blue. This phenomenon happens with the the sunlight entered from the entrance reflected on the limestone sea bottom.
The contrast of blue and green-at the resting area
Also many places to see outside the water! Beautiful green grass in this resting area is taken care neatly, and view to the sea is very clear. It is a great spot to have a picnic on a nice day.
Walk around the cape
Various species of wild plants can be seen at the walking path extended from the resting area. How about a forest bathing in the breeze of ocean?
Break time at the seat
There are some tenants serves Okinawa soba noodles and hot sandwiches inside the building. You can get snorkeling sets, swim rings and marine items here. Terrace seats are the perfect for having a rest after the sea activities.
