Viewing the world-class water tank which replicates the marine environment of Pacific Ocean at “Kaiyukan”
Exploring the Pacific Ocean
Based on the theme of “living together with other animals”, the aquarium tries to replicate the realistic environment of the ocean.
The message underneath this exhibit is to allow visitors to recognize the beauty of life and the importance of the natural environment.
The star of Kaiyukan, whale shark
In the middle of the aquarium, there is a large Pacific Ocean water tank and other small tanks surrounding it.
You will feel like you are actually in the water when seeing the massive whale shark and the other fish swimming in the main tank.
Seeking for relaxation
There are other animals like penguins and dolphins waiting for you too.
The ringed seal with cute expression is also a popular animal at the aquarium.
Many types of animals
At Kaiyukan, there are many marine animals being displayed.
Although each sardine may be small, seeing them in a large number is very stunning.
Illuminating Kaiyukan in the nighttime
The limited-time illumination will display animals to the wall and the floor of the aquarium.
The exciting show with many animals projected will likely be a good part of your memory.
