Long-established Brand for over 130 years

"Kamimura Distillery" has history over a century, and is the pioneer of cask preserving method for awamori. "Danryu" brand, awamori preserved in oak cask has sweet scent like whiskey.

Tours with no glass in between

This is the preparation tank. Awamori will be fermented for about 20 days in here. The cask behind is for "Danryu" brand awamori. Unique smell of fermented mash is an important part of atmosphere in factory.

Underground ferment for awamori

Awamori becomes "Koshu" by leaving it for years. The taste becomes milder and sweeter. They keep bottles for five years in this warehouse and send them outiside for sales.

After the tour, tasting time for few types of awamori and non-alcohol citric acid drinks is waiting for you. This will be a great opportunity to find your favorite awamori.

By making reservations in groups, you can taste them at outside table with neat explanation for each brand.
