This is a road side station where many informations of Yambaru and foods from Yambaru gathers. If you are hungry, "Shokudo Wa-ya", "Shokujidokoro Kuina" and the food court is available. Local inobuta is recommended.
A big souvenir selling area
Many shops and items such as "Okinawa limited items" "Salt from various place in Okinawa" "Yambaru wooden materials" "Shamisen instruments" are lining up in this road side station. Just looking around is already a lot of fun.
Local specialities! Kunigami doughnuts and Karagi tea
We recommend hand made Kunigami doughnuts and Karagi-tea from Miyazato pastries. Yambarukuina is illustrated on their shopping bags. Fresh cinnamon scented Karagi-tea is tasty in both ways, straight or with milk and Okinawa black sugar.
Okinawa special brand drink Awamori
This is a part of awamori selling area. Isn't it too difficult to choose from this number of options? If you don't know which one to choose, we recommend local awamori "Yambarukuina" and "Maruta"from Takazato distillery. Also try them with soda.
